NC-JOIN

NC-JOIN is the North Carolina Juvenile Online Information Network. As the name indicates, the network is a web-based system that allows DJJDP staff at various points in the State’s juvenile justice system to track the progress and placement of youth being served by various programs and facilities.

nc-joinNC-JOIN places crucial information at the fingertips of court counselors, detention and youth development center staff throughout the State. Future plans include expanding appropriate access to community prevention and intervention programs funded through local Juvenile Crime Prevention Councils in each of the 100 counties.

NC-JOIN is also an asset to those who plan and evaluate programs and services. It has become an essential tool in providing the data necessary in making decisions on the appropriate use of scarce resources to help fund and direct services for youth involved in crime prevention and intervention efforts both at the state and local levels.
